I think it was stupid that they censored the word "suicidal" from Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls". It made the song sound terrible.

I think 50 is saying "I still kill", as in "I still sell lots of records, make money, etc." Haven't heard the song yet though, but I love how the media likes to edit things around.

EDIT: Rewind...after reading the lyrics, I see WHY they changed the damn title. You don't have to fill your song with derogatory words just to get a point (for this particular song, a pointless one at that) across.

radio stations should have censored that song entirely, thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks it's lousy.


on a separate note, 50 Cent has a point, I mean why is it okay for MTV to play the B-word in buckcherry's song or the offspring's "why don't you get a job?" but then censor it in Janet Jackson's "Son of a Gun" or Ja Rule's "Down A** B****". Most censors usually censor a word due to the context it is used in but for all of the songs I mentioned above, the word is used to the same effect. Ultimately though I just think 50's ego is bruised because his album isn't going to go any more than platinum. Why's he playing the victim all of a sudden?

50 Cent sucks as a person and a rapper, don't get me wrong, but MTV's censorship is very lame. I wonder if anyone else remembers the ridiculous censoring of Weezer ("Hash Pipe" and "We Are All on Drugs") and Shinedown (".45").

yeah, it pisses me off when i see the Smack That video and they censor out "sore" or when they censor out Ciara's line "smooth as mother" in Get Up. There are so many examples of how over-the-top MTV can be with censorship, but there's no use in fighting it so I don't see why 50's making such a stink about it.
