Honestly I'm surprised by it's success, since video and song is nothing out of ordinary. Seems Miley is really queen of Vevo and Youtube right now.
I have to say while i really HATE Miley, and this song is OK (not bad, but not special), I'm very very impressed by her power to get so many views so quickly.
But she still gains like a bit under a million in an hour. Ok, 4 hours is maybe too short but I think 6 hours is definetely possible!
Yeah, but she gains more at night. It is usually kind of slow during the day. Let's hope for 6 tho so we'll start to celebrate early a real achievement not an imaginary non existent one.
The song is absolutely stunning. The licking on the video was completely unnecessary but that controversial take on the vid is what has made it such a YT success. Combined with the VMA media coverage of course. She's slaying this era and i'm glad, it's good because she has one SOLID record coming out and she's gon' snatch both gaga and katy bald.
