When I first listened to Rihanna's Unapologetic I found it to be a rushed and inconsistent album. But now, after whoring it for the past few days, I realized that I LOVE it, it's a pleasure to listen to it and see her experimenting with so many different genres. I love every song from it now (even Get It Over With and Lost In Paradise, the ones I hated the most at first), and I honestly think it's her best album, I can even say that this is my favorite album at the moment and I've been paying dust to all my other 50 CDs just to spend my whole day just listening to this album. I lurked some old threads about the album and I saw many negative opinions, many calling this her worst album, do you still think so or did the album grow on you? Did you love it since the first listen? Or did you love it at first and now you got bored of it? Vote in the poll and discuss. Also, can't believe this got 61/100 on Metacritic, while Talk That Talk got 64/100 I used to love Talk That Talk but I listened to it again and I think it's truly a rushed mess, all the tracks past Birthday Cake sans Drunk On Love are pure filler.

When it first came out I only liked Right Now, What Now, Stay and LWT/MM.

Yup. Wasn't a fan of the album on first listen but I recently went back to revisit it and I enjoyed the album as a whole.

Unapologetic is definitely a better album than TTT. Sans Right Now, its generally cohesive and flows beautifully.

The reason metacritic puts it below is largely because of Chris Brown - the feature and the odd lyrical references to him understandably turned a lot of reviewers away.

And it got a poor reception on ATRL because its too urban meaning dance pop obsessed ph@gs didnt use.

Also forgot to add, I'm loving the album so much that I don't want her to release a new one this year, I'm praying and hoping that she resumes the era and makes What Now finally happen. If she does that, then I want her to release Jump at some point in early 2014 and have that SMASH to end the era so she can have a smooth transition to album 8, which should be out in mid 2014.

I loved it cause its all good pop music but it expresses who Rihanna has grown to be at the same time...I love it, her best since rated r, and I think its rating was so low on metercritic because she got a lot of negative reviews because of chris being on the album

I remember when the snippets were on Perez and I hated them and thought this album was gonna be pure trash and I had a mini breakdown then NB leaked and I LOVED IT and gave me hope for the album. Then ofc the full thing came and there was Lov7 and Numb and Stay and POTR. I'm so sorry I doubted this album

It was actually the opposite. I loved it at first, but now I really just use What Now! Such a great song tbh. I like other songs on it, just don't use them as much.

No. I disliked it from the start. I realize I'm in the minority, but TTT was waaaay better for me. The only songs I use are Diamonds, Pour It Up, Stay and maaaybee Loveeeee Song/Numb

But those are the 3 best songs in the album..

Yeah funny was I hated that "Nobodies Business" song but i'm neutral on it now, I was surprised to see the album get such mixed reviews. It was really good

In your opinion, I don't like any of those songs (for various reasons) it would be flawfree for me and only me if it wasn't included. Still a dope album tho
