I guess. She is implying that his sisters are some poor village girls who grow out their hair to sell it as if that's the only possible existence they could have. A lot of people make racist generalizations and comments about Asians, but it's more acceptable and easier to get away with because no one really cares so little to no backlash for it.
I think it's more an insult towards herself considering that she has go to underpaid, impoverished women across the world for their hair so she can put it on her own head, but it's not like Rihanna was ever known for being moral and righteous. Her "appeal" comes from her trashiness.
Anyway, some of you need to your facts straight:

Indian is a nationality, not a race. These two women are not of the same race:

How do you know this? Most people in Asia aren't familiar with black people's hair. He's more than likely talking about her short hair since short hair on women isn't popular in South Asia. Indian celebs get the same comments when they cut their hair short. In fact, non-black western celebs do too; Miley Cyrus received those same comments about her hair when she cut it.

There is no "Indian race" and you know very well she's referring to those poor Indian women who grow their hair and sell it and implying that he's associated with them.

India is not "a subcontinent to Asia." It's a country in Asia, specifically South Asia. A "subcontinent" is a portion of a continent and the term "Indian subcontinent" is used to refer to the South Asian countries that are linked to India like Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.

What are you talking about most of the hair collected is from donations of people cutting it for religious purposes. People go to temples, collect the hair and sell it back for profit. Your ignorance is a ki. You tried though.

Did you just pull this out of your ass and call out someone else for their ignorance?

I don't think you understood Rihanna's response. She meant that his sisters would grow hair for her because most weaves and extensions black women use are from India and other Asian countries.
As for Indians being "damn hairy," not really. There dozens of ethnic groups in India from the different Asian races and it's usually ethnic Punjabi people (you probably don't even know what that is) and other North Indian ethnic groups that are hairy (usually just some men). Indians are also "well known" for wearing turbans in western media when in reality, it's just Sikh men who are a tiny minority in India. Indians are also portrayed as having really long names when it's mostly Tamil Hindu and Telugu Hindu people with those types of names so it's another minority.
