I completely agree with Lorde. I hate these "I need you so bad, I would die without you songs". they're unrealistic and depressing. Part of the reason I can't relate to the adele craze. Its all so depressing and desperate. I don't know who adele was singing about but girl GET OVER IT.

She should shut the **** up. I love "Royals", but I hate when artists say that their music is better than someone's else because of their based opinion. Music is art, and art doesn't have limits. It's supposed to be an expression of oneself, and Lana's depressing past troubled with alcohol and abusive relationships is reflected through that. That's the beauty of music.

Not to compare the two, but Amy Winehouse' "Rehab", a song that basically says no to Rehab, and that she enjoys the life of addiction, went on to win a Grammy and be one of the most critically acclaimed songs.

Lana should write whatever the **** she wants, because she's expressing her feelings through her music, and she's not responsible to who it influences, and if some people identify with Lana's music then it shouldn't bother Lorde because its none of her ****ing business.

lana writes from her own perspective and she doesnt care about writing woman empowerment music. she is desperately in love with men and is very insecure.

Maybe Lorde should have checked out Lana's Twitter more often. Lana posted this a while ago and it's everything but anti-feminist or submissive or whatever.

She didn't lie though. It's true. Seems like Lana fans are a little bit bitter that this little girl came out of nowhere and has snatched Lana's wig (along with almost everyone else's).
