I was an early adopter of Lorde's music and have been rooting for her since day one but... She's kinda showing her ass and its annoying.

Young girls are taking this and twisting what it is. She's not really shading Lana, she's more pointing out this isn't for young girls to get idea's.

Lana targets an older audience looking back on their youth. Not the youth trying to emulate that.

But how is it unhealthy to write songs like that and anti feminist? Both male and female artists write songs about love and being dependent on a person they love, not being able to be with that person. Look at "without you', 'mirrors' and Bruno Mars in general and those men aren't considered weaker because they sing about that but because you're a woman you can't sing about that or you're sending the wrong message? Thats a load of BS.

Lorde, girl I like you and you have the right to write about whatever you want but being pro feminist doesn't mean a woman cant write about love and despair and the feeling of loss. You're trying to trade one way of thinking for another way of thinking when in reality feminism shouldn't be about telling women that they cant feel or write about feeling so desperately in love that you feel like your life would suck without that person. Feminism should be about letting women know they can feel HOWEVER they want to feel.

She might as well be saying "Alcohol isn't for kids, people!" or something.

Something I think is important to note, Lana and Adele are grown women, 27 and 25. Lorde is 16, what would she be writing about? Her relationships when she was 15? What she would write about something "relationship-y" and what Lana and Adele would write post break up, to perhaps a year(s) long relationship which they seriously thought would last are completely different.

Better than need a remix to be noticed by a few people, apart from the posers of Lady Gaga and some hipsters alienated. Try again.
