Lana is pretty stupid for thinking that though.
If Lana was born in the era that she feels she would fit in more, she wouldn't have been so obsessed with it and it would be everyday life.
You have to remember, every decade since the 20's people have tried moving forward multiple times because they hated the state that society was in. That is why there is such a distinct difference between the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's etc. rather than the 90's, 00's, 10's. People were desperate for change because life had become
stagnant.
It's stupid to say "I was born in the wrong era" because people always obsess with the past.
Hipsters love the 90's etc. because it's not what we have now.
Lana can obsess all she likes about the past, but it's stupid for her to want to be born then. Especially since she forgets how tough life was though, and how media only focuses on the glamorous sides of it all.
