I agree to an extent. Gossip is cheap and tacky, though lord knows I'm guilty.
Not everywhere in the internet is TED Talks though, so on a forum for pop music, where the "artists" themselves are often more interesting than the work they put out, we're going to get some low-brow discourse.
I'm not here for quotes, nor people who live off them.
They're always try hard and only used by people who it benefits (most of the time people using these kind of quotes are small minded themselves but think by knowing a quote they're somehow superior).
