Singing about partying and having fun is basically the counter. I agree with you 100% that most of the gorls on this forum haven't stepped two feet outside of the top 40, but take it from someone who has listened to hundreds of genres from Reggae to Folk to Indie to Rap... Lana is one of the very few deep artists out there.

Every pop star... and person for that matter, has sorrow in their life. Most singers choose to mask the sorrow and only sing about the happy times in their lives. Lana is deep in the sense that she chooses to sing about the sad parts... but she also has upbeat songs about the happy times, which just proves she's not one dimensional.
