I know what you mean, but believe me. If you rely your happiness on your relationship with him, you will be very disappointed. If you become so attached to a person, you are risking yourself to be extremly hurt. I have been there and it is not fun.
Do you something you deeply love? Not a person but like a hobby. Do you have goals? Do you live a purposeful life?
This is what brings inner happiness, working towards something meaningful. Not achivements, money, fame or looks will bring you happiness.

I mean, that's already happened before. We had a huuuuuge falling out, but we talked through it and became better for it. We actually ended up improving each other's lives immensely afterwards haha.
Usually I focus on working in the theatre, on films or music, but I haven't been able to this semester which is another reason why I feel so awful. Plus, these are things I also share with him and we bounce ideas off each other creatively.
I'll be fine hahah. I never realized how big a part of my life he actually was before he left and I think that's why it hurts so much because I feel so lonely. But, I've never been the type to stray too far from my career goals and being successful has always been my number one mission. Plus, like I said, I'm usually a really happy person and I always bounce back, sometimes it just takes longer, you know?
