Basically. I don't know why the Katy stans are proud of this article just because of the fact it bestows her the title of the biggest pop star (which isn't even accurate). It's not a compliment so much as it is saying that her relevance rests solely on her commercial appeal. Not only does that not bode well for her career in the long run (because every artist has a flop era), but it means that her legacy as an artist will be virtually non-existent.
