In that case yes I do want to take it there. if you wanna battle the typical Emboar set vs typical Salamence set then I'm fine with that. One is in NU and is a NONFACTOR there while one is slaying in OU and was even suspected for Ubers I think. It's clear who the superior is.
Idk what NU or OU are so I'll just go with New/Old Universe.

It's kind of a curse though. It's good because you learn more about Pokemon and about the strategies involved in battles and can improve in that. On the other hand (in my case) I can't simply play the thing without being obsessed with the competitive part like the EV's and stuff. It's a bitter sweet feeling.
