So apparently the reason Britney is coming back to being her old self is because when dealing with mental problems and doctors prescribing medicines, it can sometimes take 2-5 years for the right drug combination to make the person not feel like a zombie, depressed, angry, etc. Every new drug combination is tested on a 3-6 month basis, which helps explain why during the I Am...The Femme Fatale shoot----FF Promos, it looked like Britney was a little bloated, and then the bloating stopped about 4 months afterwards etc. Finding the right combination is essential to a person feeling 100%.
I know this personally because when my mother had depression, they put her on different combos of drugs, and some days she would feel super depressed and robotic, and then a new combo would come and she would be literally void of any emotions, etc.
It explains it, and it certains helps show why Britney has been looking better and happier over these last several months I am positive and optimistic about the comments that she has fully come back
I actually believe this. My mum's had depression, and she was put on diff combos of drugs, some days she'd be really happy and other days she'd be the biggest bitch. It feels like a long time coming for us Britney fans, but I think (fingers crossed) that Britney i actually in a good place now
We both know that the conspiracy theory on YouTube that the illuminati killed Britney in 2008 and replaced her with a mind controlled Britney look-alike because she refused them is more likely than that intimate tour.
And that is so sad.

Makes sense since Soda Pop is a flawless track.
Actually, it doesn't exactly make sense, the only close to correct answer would be saying TFM is the inferior trashy Soda Pop b-side.

As it continues to be now and will still be in 2999.
The song is a crossover dance smash, she has never done EDM, Femme Fatale was pure dance pop. Urban and EDM roots in the song.
Straight up urban would make her more local than the FF era, lets be real.
She'll need a featuring for straight up Urban because ain't no self-conscious black man or woman gonna bump a Britney Spears solo track in public, no matter how good it is.
It's difficult for me to put it in a certain genre because I didn't hear the whole song and as I said it's "different". But it's more thumping uptempo than mid-tempo. However, there's a clear urban influence (besides the word bitch...). Her vocals don't sound like "Ooh La La" and as far as I could hear there's no heavy vocoder use. She has attitude in her voice. Don't nail me on it, but I'd say clear ITZ like vocals meet "Break the Ice".

The quality wasn't too good because it was over a phone. I heard part of the first verse, hook and part of the chorus. Don't know who said that the song is similar to "Greyhound", but I'd say that's the most accurate description! The instrumental is reminiscent of the middle part of "Greyhound". The melody however is different... can't really explain it, but it sounds a little disjointed with the instrumental. Might sound different in HQ, but that's what I got from the short clip. The word "bitch" is a repeated part within the song, not like "It's Britney, bitch", but it'll be easy to make a clean version out of this. The beat during verse/bridge is a lot heavier than during the chorus (maybe it picks up again later during the chorus, I only heard a few seconds of it), but therefore the chorus is more melodic than the verse. From what I can say this is a surefire hit! It's very "Me Against the Music" in the way that it's a new sound, but this song is SURE to be picked up by radio and loved by the general public. Since I didn't hear the whole song it's hard to range it among her other lead singles, especially since this snippet was not even HQ... but I REALLY like what I've heard and am now even more excited about the premiere on monday.

Obviously, I never expected Britney to do "straight up Urban" - Anyone who expected such thing has some serious mental problems, TBH.
But EDM? More FF-like dance-y tracks? No, sir, I'm not here for that. I've been over that since early 2012, and I was happy to think Britney was as well... I confess I'm a bit scared for this track AND album 8 right now.
