They absolutely knew what they were doing. 9/11 is the most iconic (hate using that word in this situation) date in the US, scheduling a fire drill with real ****ing smoke and flames today would have tons of thought put into it.

It's been 12 years and people start forgetting. Like, they have these customized news through the intercom in the supermarket I work and today they had a news story that went: "Today, America is celebrating a fun day, the make-your-bed-day" and then they went on about some tradtition with making your bed. But I still found it insensitive. I mean, I'm not in the U.S., but they could have phrased it another way besides saying that today was a fun day for America

Dafuq were they thinking, I would be pisssed having my feelings played like that.
