As a true R&B artist she was able to make classic hits that stand the test of time and outsell Beyonce up until her last effort.
She just did it on good songs and talent.
At least check out wiki if you are not going to check billboard and RIAA.

I still think YMCMB is going to either take the 3rd album or 4th album and re-release it to surpass 2.1M like Missy's album being the most successful RAP album by a solo RAP artist. Lauryn put out a R&B album or do a double album to get double certifications. It all counts. They are going to do something to get ha to break EVERY rap female record and yall can book mark this.
