I feel bad for ASAP because he is being pigeonholed as the "gay friendly" rapper and asked about it all the time in the media because he said he was cool with the gays.

The media doing that is counter productive to what he is saying though. They pick at it as if a rapper being cool with gay people is so radical.

I get him, He had already addressed the whole gay rumors, spoke about it publicly, supported gay rights & people kept bagging on him in hip hop, etc & then for MTV to put him there, it's like they wanted to add fire to those rumors.

when you clarify something and people continue to get you on it, some people let it be while others simply get annoyed, he sounds sincere and I think he's trying to handle it the best way he can.
