Best Solo Pop Vocal Performance is not based on how good you sound at all. It's the best song that 50% or more vocals. Same for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Also JT is a Rare exception and I doubt they'll make it again its better to just be sure because What Now would get 0 nominations solely off being so close to the cutoff just like We Found Love and Diamonds.

Trust me on this. The competition IS strong. Huge in fact. There is Try/Skyfall/Roar/Applause/2 Bruno smashes/I Knew You Were Trouble/Wrecking Ball/Mirrors all battling.

If we're not getting #R8 this fall, I don't see us getting it next summer either. In order to do that she'd just be going straight back into the studio after the tour ends. She needs a REAL break from music, like 6 months+ off from recording.

Also What Now has been praised by the industry for it's vocal already so if it's a hit, it has it chances to be nominated.
