According to The Urban Daily on Sept. 7, the only daughter of NBA basketball legend Michael Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita says she is gay.
Jasmine Jordan, 20, came out of the closet by posing a picture of her and her girl friend on Instagram with the heading: “This Little Closet Is Holding Me Back.”
Jasmine's girlfriend is former Syracuse Orange basketball guard Carmen Tyson-Thomas.
A week before Jasmine admitted she was gay, she posted a new tattoo on Instagram which says: “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.”
Jasmine's girlfriend posted a lot of pictures of the pair's Skype sessions and love notes as well.
Jasmine is a junior at Syracuse University majoring in sports management even though she has admitted in an interview that she hates college. She said: "I knew if I transferred it would bring more attention to me and if I dropped out I'd be going against my promise I made to my parents that I would graduate."
Michael and his ex-wife Juanita also have two sons, Jeffrey Michael, 24, basketball player and Marcus James, 22, basketball player.
