I feel like im going to be extremely disappointed im worried.

I'm surprised I like this A LOT. It's better than Congratulations. They sound like Tame Impala on some songs although MGMT went psychedelic rock before them.

I love MGMT. I'm probably one of the few people that thinks 'Congratulations' is a better album as a whole than OS.

But I did not like this at all on first listen. It sounds very samey apart from AD and nothing really stands out like 'Flash Delirium' or TTP. The whole "not wanting success thing" is just an excuse imo. Having success doesn't equal making bad music.

Im a little worried now after reading the replies, but I liked AD and YLIAL so far.

This is not good. It all just sounds so half-assed.

This album is exactly what Youth Lagoon tried with Wondrous Bughouse but failed to do. It's brilliant! Can't wait to read the reviews for this.
