ARTPOP easily ... 1D has passed their peak in popularity and buzz etc.. I don't think they'll outsell their previous albums .. Just like Justin Bieber ..

In my personal opinion I see Gaga doing around 30% less this era than last. (which is still REALLY good, don't get me wrong) While 1D does almost exactly the same as last era.

Which would put them narrowly ahead in both category's.

Worldwide, 1D could give Gaga a run for her money if they had great single success.

Midnight Memories will sell about 1.5M in the USA and 4.5 WW while ARTPOP won't even do 1M in the USA tbh.

Low for both, but I agree. ARTPOP is not going to sell anywhere near what BTW did.

I expect bigger first week sales for 1D but Gaga will probably outsell them in the longrun.

Gaga will slay worldwide and 1D will slay the US. I expect their overall sales to come close like last time.

Born This Way sold 7 million worldwide, by the way.

I'll give Gaga the slight edge. But it could go either way.
