I don't think it matters too much. If people want to hear the song they'll just watch a lyric video or something. Jay-Z's song was top 5 on Billboard Hot 100 with no music video, and Get Lucky got to #2 without one.

Plus Miley's new video has way more ~nudity/sexual content and I doubt that'll stop anything. Hopefully everyone will create accounts for that and then they'll be able to watch Iggy's too

Yeah hopefully lol. Did Miley's video get an 18+ restriction? I know Sexy and I Know It's video did, and it slowed down in views a lot after it happened. But at least with the Hot 100 they count all videos, not just the official music video, so Change Your Life can get streams from other places.

No, not yet at least, CYL only got a restriction like over 12 hours after it was up. Maybe YouTube needs a certain number of reports or something before the content warning message appears.

I wouldn't be surprised if Miley's team gets YouTube to take the 18+ warning down or even talked in advance for them not put it up in the first place just like what happened with Rihanna's Stay and Nicki's High School. Total ******** if you ask me.
