A rare Japanese Pokemon card featuring franchise poster creature Pikachu is up for sale, according to the item's listing on eBay.
The "Pikachu Illustrator" card was originally distributed in very limited quantities as a promotional item in the late 90s for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. According the the Bulbapedia wiki, fewer than six copies are thought to have been printed, four of which have been sold.
As of this writing, seller "smpratte" has declined 401 offers for the card but has set a $100,000 "Buy It Now" price. Currently, 2,009 people are "watching" the auction, which will end in about 10 days, on Sept. 18.
