Those other countries it wasn't officially release yet it still charted VERY HIGH.

No, it's really not. Commercial =/= generic. As if Lana is that deep. Her monotone voice makes everything seem deep and inspirational, and boring. Born To Die was half decent, but then everything she released afterwards just sounds the same. She has no range.

Melodically and production-wise it is very generic. I'll give you that - the verses are unrelateable, but the chorus is one of the most generic of 2013.

The point he is trying to make is that HAD a Gaga remix become successful, Interscope would have sent it to radio, much like Polydor sent the Bassnectar Remix of "Lights" out to the public since it was the one gaining popularity.

Again, I'm not comparing it. I'm simply stating it was one of those remixes the label issued and it just so happened to smash.

If people preferred a "generic remix" to "Marry the Night", you know damn well that Interscope would send it to radio.

the verses are relatable enough to put the song in the top ten of iTunes and BB for the past few weeks so. Yes, "I got that Summertime Sadness" sung like 5 times over and over is TOTALLY not a generic chorus.
