Oh pls, the movie was panned by critics and a commercial failure, but is considered by fans to be the best King Kong, especially because of Jessica Lange and Jeff Bridges. Plus, it's actually even more remarkable from her to go from this movie to let's say The Postman Always Rings Twice, which was a stunning acting performance on her side. She always took on multi-layered, difficult female personalities in her movies, which I can only applaud her for. She was never even slightly interested in starring as the bland supporting beauty, just to get cash. I'm just so glad that thanks to American Horror Story her unbelievable talents get also exposed to a younger generation, who may find them falling in love with her immaculate movie career after all these years.
