I don't use Limewire because: a) My mom doesn't let me. b) Although the chances are slim, I could be charged thousands of dollars for illegally downloading or sharing. c) When I was using Limewire it gave me viruses. d) The artists deserve the money for working hard on songs and albums.
So I download songs off of iTunes and I buy albums. You should too.
I download all my music I don't buy CDs from on Limewire.
And Cash Flow, to clarify something, you won't get caught if you don't share. The chances of getting caught without sharing is very very very slim. Like 1 in a trillionth. Unless the government watches your computer usage for some security reason, but I doubt it. That girl who got caught in Minnesota was caught only because she shared her music to others. And she was fined.
I always move my songs into a different folder on my computer when I download music from Limewire. I NEVER leave the songs in the shared folder that comes with Limewire.

It's fine Johnny. I respect you if you don't want to buy music but download. I just got money. If I was tight on money (like I was 5 years ago) I would download music. Back when I was 16 or 17 I downloaded ALL MY MUSIC. I didn't buy any CDs. Unless I got it from my mama (haha a song). But now that I got a job, I got money. I don't buy anything.
I buy gas and that's about it. I get about 100 every two weeks to spend on stuff and I put that toward CDs/DVDs/Video Games and stuff like that. I get free food at my work so I don't need to buy food with my money. I wait til Christmas for clothes. So it's all good

I know, but I already do something illegal, if I use Limewire if I was caught I would be fined for both of the illegal things. But I used to use Limewire.

yea i've always preferred the 'real' thing. i like looking at the liner notes and seeing the artwork. the only time i download is to sample songs from an album and if its really good, i buy the album.

I think it all depends on the artist for me. Now if it is someone i constantly like and listen to or know their cds are in my taste then i go buy the album. Now if it a artist in which i like one or 2 songs from them i download a single or buy a single
Like for example i like some of eminem music but not enough to buy his album but download a few song here and there
i still do buy "music" as in *real* cd's.
