Love Pearl S. Buck. I've read The Good Earth and just picked up Imperial Woman but I haven't read it yet.

Get into Pearl, she's a goddess. I did a semester project on her impact on 20th century literature last year, and that's how I began to delve into her fabulous collection. The Three Daughters of Madame Liang is my personal favorite.

I also recommend this book along with another Tolstoys classic, War and Peace.
I haven't read Tolstoy before, so I was debating between that and Anna. But then I saw the length of War and Peace, and I figured I can check it out later if I like Anna.
Tolstoy is seriously the best Russian authour ever.
I'm sort of in between books. I just finished The Beautiful and Damned, and it was marvelous. I had both love and annoyance for Anthony.
I think my next book is either going to be Prozac Nation or a re-read of the Harry Potter books. Not sure yet.
