Jazz hands at the ready - Leona Lewis is starring in a new Hollywood musical.
Get ready for the Bleeding Love singer, 28, to break into random song with random people and have bunny rabbits follow her down the street. I'm told: "The musical has an Eighties theme.
"It will be an all-singing and all-dancing spectacle and is currently being filmed in Italy.
'Leona will spend the next two months over there"
The film's producers are "excited" to have Leona on board in her first acting role. She has had lots of offers for musical roles but held out until this part "leapt out at her".
After filming she will be back in the UK to promote a new album, which will be out at Christmas. I'm told, "There are big plans for a comeback single".
Exciting stuff.
Trouble would have done alot better if she actually promoted the rapper version though and if it wasn't released on such a busy week. I doubt they were expecting Adele, Rihanna, etc to release at the same time.
Plus Trouble wasn't a strong enough comeback single anyways.

Will begin Sept. 13 shooting of the film musical'' English'' Walking on sunshine by Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini made partly on the Italian territory. The film produced by the company 'English Wos Film Limited will be' shot in Lecce for 5 weeks, until 21 October.
So what Leona said about being in Italy for nine weeks fits.
(unless they've given the hit single to Kelly Clarkson or someone else)
