In all honesty though, the X Factor Australia is also much better than the US version. Focusing on talent instead of bad auditions for sure.

By the third season and fifth season respectively. Who's to say we won't get a "Leona Lewis" this season...

I prefer the UK Show cause the Talent is better and its not so try hard like the US Version. I mean look at the US Version 2 Season and the Winners arent successful. But maybe this time it will get better cause all good things come to three.

I love X Factor UK but I haven't liked either season of the US show and I can't really explain why. The US show feels to try hard, they try to make it too big and over the top with the productions etc and it just doesn't work for me.

UK X Factor began in 2004 when talent shows weren't so overdone and people were just getting into them. It became a massive hit in the ratings and everyone was talking about it, and it felt like the whole country was involved in it. Stars of the show had more promo and support. It seems like US X Factor is just not a big deal and it began too late for anyone to care so once the show ends the very few people who do tune in aren't going to support the winners. Not to mention getting a hit on the Hot 100 is 50000x harder than getting a hit on the UK singles chart.

Because one had Tulisa for two years, and US has Kelly.

Why y'all stay calling the UK version a flop when they serveT Cher Lloyd, ONE DIRECTION, Little Mix, and a few UK locals, while the US versions winners ain't even a dust in the desert that is USA?

People in the UK actually still care about talent shows. People in the US, not so much anymore. When American Idol first came around in 2002 people went crazy for it but it's been fading the last couple years because the American GP has moved on from those types of shows. In contrast the UK is still very much invested in talent shows, I mean look at James Arthur, his coronation single sold over a million copies
