I don't smoke. But if you do smoke, more power to ya. Do what makes you feel good. I don't like people smoking right next to me though.

Thing that bothers me with people that hate smokers are that they are so quick to point out how unhealthy it is and what it may cause. But they never do it with obese people. Obesity is as unhealthy as smoking yet no one seems to care.

I mean I don't hate people who smoke cigarettes. It doesn't change make character (though I would never date a person who smokes them). I just think the actual product is gross. That goes for any drug really (except for weed).

I'm a preachy person at times, especially when it comes to health because, like I said, I was born with a chronic disease and would give anything to be in a healthy body and it kills me to see people throwing theirs away like **** it, but I definitely don't judge them for it.

Ever heard of second hand smoke? There's no such thing as second hand obesity.

I only hate it because my Mom smokes and our house (excluding my room) smells like Newport's half of the time it's so bad like I can't wait to move out

I did not compare. I simply stated that people that critize... It's easier for people to say "Hey don't smoke you'll get cancer" But they'll never say "Hey don't eat that cheesecake you heart can't take it"

If you do any of the following and are judging smokers, you can sit down:

Drink alcohol
Do drugs
Eat junk food
Eat fast food
Drink soda
Drink energy drinks
Don't exercise 30 minutes a day

The list can continue.I mean we all make bad decisions with our health.

But I never said it bothered me, I just asked why y'all do it and it was an honest question. I don't know you to judge you.

I see what you mean with the highlighted. Although eating food that is not good for you is still as not as bad as smoking cigarettes. You could live off unhealthy food mean while smoking is not a necessity to maintain life. Anyways if you smoke then w/e I'm sure you know the harmful side effects of it and I bet alot of people has already told you to stop. If you choose to smoke it then thats not my problem, its your choice, but I'll never smoke But then again I should never say never I guess

And you shouldn't smoke if you don't want to. My only problem is people who don't live pristine lives full of health and judging those who smoke. Yes, you could live off of junk food. Eventually it will take it's toll. If you live near a highway, the fumes from vehicles also reduce your longevity. We all die. How is up in the air.

The issue is that... the idk what you'd call it... What you breathe out when you smoke, someone else could breathe in. So it's not just effecting you. Whereas your eating of junk food cannot harm anyone else in any way. Plus there's also the whole thing about how some people can't afford to eat healthy, as it's very expensive to. But that's a different story for another thread.

So does anyone actually plan on answering the question without preaching?
