What did you move to China for if I may ask? Studying or are you working abroad?

Working. I'm a high school English Lit teacher and I'm working in an international school here, for Chinese kids whose parents want them to have a Western education. That's why I know I'll be here at least 3 years - that's the minimum term on my contract.

It wasn't hard to adjust because the school I'm with took care of everything. Most teachers there are Westerners so they are used to the whole procedure and they get everything necessary in place. They got me an apartment, bank account, medical insurance, etc. I didn't have to do anything.

Adjusting to the culture was a bit more difficult, but not too hard, because where I am the people are used to Westerners. I've heard in other parts of China, they point and stare, lol.

I do! But they're already big Taylor fans here. I do this thing during a very long double period on Monday morning, where I let them request a song in the middle of the lesson, to have a quick 3 minute break and re-energiser. 2 Taylor songs have already been requested: Back to December and Enchanted. Flawless taste .

For female artists, I don't think that's technically a lie right now. I remember seeing a 'top ten women of 2013' chart on one of the music channels and Taylor was number one, because IKYWT is the biggest-selling track by a female this year. Unless somebody overtook her since then.
