To all the people mentioning Rihanna, I'd like to remind you guys that Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" has more YouTube views than any Rih video (excluding the Eminem collabo) despite Super Bass being less commercially successful worldwide than Rih's biggest singles.

So does the amount of views reflect the quality of the video?

Not you talking about views when Gangnamshit has 1 billion.

No, but the views are still important for mainstream pop stars to decide who the "Queen" of music videos is (and nowhere in the OP does it state that we should only focus on the quality of the videos) so...
yes
her videography can only be rivaled by Rihanna's at the moment
Yup.
The fact that ppl are suggesting Gaga is laughable. She has just a handful of good videos, if that; the rest have missed the mark - some even blatantly. The concepts she goes for are either too complicated or simply just bad, and they often end up poorly executed as well. She should leave choreographies for live performances and make MVs at least interesting to watch.

Lady Gaga IS the queen though. None of the other girls this generation have videos that even come close Paparazzi, Telephone and Bad Romance. Especially not Katy, all her videos are mediocre at best, nothing memorable about them at all.
