Oh, apologies then.
Anyway Lip$ha, although not commercial, can put a spark back into her creativity because its a medium to express herself outside of the constraints of RCA and Dr. Luke which in turn can put a fire under her ass about her next solo record. Shes needed to sew some wild oats musically and maybe thatll reignite her passion for her pop music.

It's alright it's not like you cursed me out or anything along those lines. But doesn't ke$ha not look at her album sales, I read that somewhere on this site??? I still think she has passion for music as from her mtv reality show I can see her coming back strong

I still can't believe people still get away with crap like "She didn't have anything original and didn't bring anything new to the table". Like, before speaking and making yourself look bad, listen to the whole album and you'll come across to songs like Last Goodbye. And Ke$ha IS special. Because she's the only Pop girl that has basically made it into the industry with SMASHES who are only Party songs, like seriously, who else could do that lol?
Warrior did NOT flop because of material. The critics LOVED it and praised it MUCH more than Animal. The was the bad timing as some said, Die Young was battling face to face with Diamonds and was beating it in the first days but the tragedy happened and the radio completely ditched her.
And second, her label is filled with idiots and she should just switch to a better one. They choose the terrible C'mon as a second single and ruined Crazy Kid which could have easily smashed if it got the right promo, video and no collab, but oh well.. I hope Ke$ha switches to something like Interscope.
And saying that an artist's career is over after they have released only two albums is like.. tragic lol. Her next era will tell!

Most people whose first songs were #1 singles usually don't last. Most people who have a high peak so early on usually dwindle by album 4.
Leona, Ke$ha, Toni Braxton...
It's mainly due to not having a hardcore fanbase...Singles artists don't have these things. And as much as I love Leona Kesha and Toni their singles were highly profitable while their albums were good at the start for some. Toni still had a good run because she was R&B and its hard to do. Leona and Ke$ha still have accomplished very little. I'm a Leona stan
Most people just Bandwagon for Tik Tok and Bleeding Love then bought the first album then peace'd out.

Really that's just like saying that people who start good, die soon. Ke$ha's fanbase IS hardcore, but the fact is that it isn't big enough. Look at Nicki, she's a perfect example. She has release the same number of albums as Ke$ha and her second one was criticized so much but her fanbase was what kept her alive tbh.
IMO, it's too early to categorize Ke$ha as a singles artist, because she has indeed sold more singles in the Animal era, but in her sophomore album, both her singles and album flopped so we can't label her judging by only one album.
Her label helped her at the beginning but if it wasn't for them right now Ke$ha would have been much bigger IMO.

Nicki Minaj is an albums artist. She has no #1 single. All her albums have been 31 and certified Platinum. Don't come for Nicki because I'm telling the truth.

you're forgetting Past Lives, Only Wanna Dance With You, Gold Trans Am and Thinking Of You

Because she's a cross of Gaga, Katy Perry & Nicki Minaj, but not as polarizing. Her second album was just kinda there.
edit: maybe "polarizing" isn't the right word. "interesting" is a better word.

What I find more interesting is why people seem to think that Ke$ha is already over.
All of Ke$ha's singles went Top 10 right up until this year (Die Young was still Top 10 in January, 2013), and both C'Mon and Crazy Kids peaked within the Top 40, which is the general classification for a "hit" song.
Warrior's album sales weren't great, but there was also a lot of competition that week. If they're picked a better week to release it, she could have gotten at least Top 3, easily.
Fair enough if Ke$ha's next lead single fails to chart in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, then call her a "flop" and say that she's "over", or didn't "last". Even still, I'm pretty sure nobody thinks that Beyonce is "over", and her last lead single didn't peak in the Top 10.

Me come for Nicki? Lol I'm a Nicki stan xD! She's balanced, PF RR didn't sell enough to make her "an album artists", and Starships sold hugely enough to make her a singles artist. Just because a song doesn't go number one that doesn't mean that it's not successful and doesn't make the artists a "singles artists".

I think there are a lot of different reasons for this, the main one being... There are too many pop divas who possess way more vocal talent than Ke$ha does, and they are more consistent.
Don't get me wrong... Ke$ha is immensely talented, I just don't think she has as great of vocals as Katy or Gaga or Adele or Queen Bey or P!nk or any of them. I think her songwriting is better than her vocals, honestly. Warrior was an amazing album, though, I was disappointed it flopped. "C'Mon" should've had more success than "Die Young", it was a better song (although I liked "Die Young" as well), although "Crazy Kids" was not a good single choice. Plus, when you have so many other competing artists out there.... There's a lot of reasons. I hope that when her next album comes out it will be more successful, or when she releases another single from Warrior.

I'm quite literally angry and pressed every time I think about all the potential on Warrior and that fact that it underperformed

She's the epitome of throw away tbh. People liked her for a few hit songs, not a lasting career.

The break, she was a newbie, she shouldn't have taken a break this early in her career.

Nothing made her stand out, she took a break, and the timing of everything was terrible. Die Young woulda gone #1 if not for the radio blackout on the song right as it hit #2

Her problem is that all her singles sound alike.
There is only so many times the public is gonna buy the same song over and over...
What she should have done is release a song that wasn't party girl dance music.

Die Young almost managed to go #1 a little less than a year ago. She can come back if things are done right. She better not be a lazy bitch like last time and get started on her next LP asap.
