The video for Mandisa's song Overcomer premiered on Good Morning America today. The footage featured Robin Roberts going through her cancer battle/recovery. It's an upbeat, kinda dancey CCM song.

It's kind of mind-blowing that Mandisa is the last Season 5 artist standing in terms of relevancy in her musical genre, when she finished ninth. But that was the most popular American Idol season of all and she was never shooting to be a big pop star, just hoping to appeal enough to Christian music fans to have a career. With the Idols shooting for pop stardom, if they falter, they're almost always totally done. But Mandisa's made a nice life for herself in her musical niche since 2007 or so without ever even coming close to a gold album.
