While I agree that the direction of Woo Hoo is different from her other singles, think about it from a general public point of view... or from the point of view of a person who only listens to the singles that Ke$ha puts out. A track similar to Woo Hoo would just be lumped in with the previous singles of being "another party song" and wouldn't get any notice for being a change.
I'm still sticking with my idea that she needs to release a single about something else other than partying... no matter how many other concepts she tries to base it around
as well as partying.
For example, a song like Backstabber would be a great single choice at this point in Ke$ha's career. It's fun, it's catchy, it's Ke$ha, and it's about a friend who's betrayed you, so it's probably going to be relatable to a lot of people. Nothing about partying. It'd do great. Go with this theme/concept for the lead single of album #3, and she'd be set.
