She can't catch a break this era

Nobody said it had to be basic or generic. Take some of Gaga's biggest radio hits; Poker Face, Bad Romance and The Edge of Glory did superb on radio and non of them were "basic", generic, purpose built radio hits.

Why can't she make songs which double are both smart, simplistic and interesting, commercial and strong enough for radio but enough substance for it not to be the same as everything else playing a power rotation?

Well if some of the fanbase weren't so cocky and didn't rub every little achievement in other stans faces it wouldn't be so bad.

Aura truly would be the Judas of ARTPOP. It may not be radio friendly, but its epic enough to push itself forward.

Applause is ****. It's a good song but a ****** single choice. I love that she's performing it but if she's performing in order to raise its position on the charts then she's wasting her time because people just aren't buying the song. She doesn't want a #1 song so it's all ok, though.
