I <3 this album....even though i fell asleep on it...but it was because I started listening at 2:00am

Disappointed album from Alicia definitely, compared to both of her previous albums. =(

Alicia's album is good, but nothing mindblowing for me. I expected better, but it'll still probably grow on me. There are some gems (most notably the amazing "Like You'll Never See Me Again") but they are few compared to her previous album.

I have a problem with how she uses her voice in a few songs, though. For ex. "The Thing About Love" and "Superwoman" are great songs but they could have been better IMO, if she just used her voice to the fullest. Call me deaf, but I find it pretty strained and whispery in some spots. I actually think she sounds better live.

Yep. This album has no initial hits. Not enough songs that radio will play to the fullest, except Urban stations but of course they hardly have anything else to play if it doesn't feature T-Pain.

This album can only have hits with "No One" and if she releases "Tell You Something". Anything else won't do too hot, especially in downloads. And I know radio is more than downloads now, but I still don't think radio will ***** anything from here besides the 2 I mentioned. Everything is slow, kind of boring, her voice is strained on some songs. She will only have hits on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart, elsewhere they'll either do moderately or hey I could be wrong and radio will play the songs.
