Sex Dreams is one of the most surprising songs I've heard from Gaga so far this era. I'm beyond excited for the possibility of this being released as the 2nd single. Can you IMAGINE the visuals she's gonna give us when the video is released?
I understand that the fans want Gaga to be #1 at all times, but she's at such a high level of fame now...that type of pressure could have a negative effect on the music and what she releases. I just want her to have fun, and be free to create...
I'd rather her release quality songs that are fun and enjoyable--than "safe" singles just to get a hit. Because I already KNOW she's gonna slay with Album sales, and the hits will follow naturally.

I don't think any of the songs are hit potential BUT I think if she's going to promote the album (which is what SINGLES are for), she should release something risky and something that will show diversity.

That said, Sex Dreams and ARTPOP are the best choices. Aura would be controversial but probably not in the best way. MANiCURE is the absolute worst choice because it's rather generic.

If you're going to underperform, you might as well go big.
