Foxes has admitted she was shocked when she found out Katy Perry was a fan of her music.
The singer - real name Louisa Allen - also revealed that she used to write letters to Perry before breaking into the music industry.
"I love Katy Perry, who doesn't love Katy Perry?" she told Digital Spy.
"I used to write her letters telling her I was a fan. I want to write her another one now to say thanks for the shout out.
"She told people to check out Foxes, which is amazing... unless she meant the actual animal?"
Asked if she is a fan of Perry's latest track 'Roar', she insisted: "You have no idea. I must have played it about 150 times, just rocking back and forth, in my happy place."
