It doesn't disprove sex on fire was a huge hit which repeated the line "your sex is on fire" over and over. S&M has sex in it and is speaking about getting sexual pleasure from chains and whips. The song is called Sadism & Masochism. Also Sexy back and BL are pretty dirty.

Sex Dreams is a huge risk. It was my favorite song that she performed at the iTunes festival, but I'm not sure how much radio/the GP will eat it up.

I mean, I know many songs mentioning "sex" are played all the time, but Sex Dreams is very literal. i.e "When I lay bed and touch myself I think of you"... is it not maybe a little too rauchy/provocative for a single? I'll judge it when I heard the studio version, because we'll probably have a clearer idea then.

I don't think it's the lyrics that radio won't play Sex Dreams per se. It's both the vibe of the song (it's kinda dark and moody) and just Gaga in general. If radio couldn't even cling to Applause I just don't see how Sex Dreams could smash on radio even though I think it would sound great on it. It'll be an interesting single to track though!

Basically it is Sex Dreams vs. Jewels and Drugs. I'd be surprised if these two flopped. Very current and infectious. Public doesn't care about sex, aside from bored mother's who probably would complain about I Wanna Be With Yoü. But the reaction to Sex Dreams has been so positive that it would be messy not to release it.

Then there is Aura vs. Swine. Both have that psychotic dance pop going on, but I'd only want them as follow up singles if Applause were smashing harder. If either of these is the continuation to the Paparazzi/Telephone saga then that would create a lot of buzz in itself, but it may be best to save that hype!
