I think he looks better, but I just hate this whole mega evolution idea, older pokemon should be getting evolutions not this mess.
But 3 staged Pokemon won't get any evos duh Mega evolution are a good solutions without creating too many (pre)Evos. that's something i don't like about the 4th. I mean i love most of the evo and pre-evos but there were so many of them and we didn't get that many new lines

and 3 stage pokemon were fine.
But it does improve the gameplay. There are 3 stage pokemon lines that are just not good and they can make them better. Look at Charizard. It is just bad for battles. Its stats aren't outstanding and it weakness to rock makes it so easy to take it out (thanks to Stealth Rocks) Well even tho it has still the Rock weakness, with its Megaform it actually gets a great ability + stat boost that definitely needed.
