but in all seriousness, i agree with the need for a slower tempo song. i think itll make all the difference. not a gaurenteed 1/2 smash, but itll make it easier to get in top 3/5
No. I was hiding in the corner of the movie theater I work at and eating some popcorn with white cheddar seasoning. If it counts, there were flashing lights where I was though!
I just think that now is not the time for Gaga to play it safe. APPLAUSE was a safe single choice and it hasn't smashed. It is a hit, but not huge. MANiCURE would be the same. Sex Dreams is a risk she HAS to take at this point. Sure, it is very racy for the radio (Blurred Lines, S&M, Talk Dirty, I Can't Believe It, Lovegame etc. etc) but it has the potential to be one of the Biggest hits of her career if it is well received by the GP. The GP loves sexy gaga (Bad Romance, Poker Face) and I'm sure they would like a fun song like MANiCURE, but she needs something to make her cool again. Sex Dreams will bring the right kind of controversy that will make her a bit of a guilty pleasure for people, like she had in the poker face/lovegame days.
