I hate public speaking with a passion.
I get so much stage fright its ridiculous. It takes me forever sometimes just to get up and present a project in class.
I eventually do it and get whatever I needed done, but its a never ending struggle I deal with. What about y'all?
Nooooo I can't i stop shaking.. and English is not my first language so I think that everybody is laughing at my accent.. When I have a project in class I cry lmao
I love public speaking. Sure I get a bit nervous (everyone does, and if you don't then you obviously didn't prepare enough) but if you know what you're talking about, it's so empowering and it makes you feel like you just did the impossible because I always get compliments on how I present myself and people really want to emulate me since they aren't great at speaking.
I do the hand gestures but that's a good thing imo, it keeps the audience engaged
I used to be so afraid of public speaking to the point of sever stuttering and blushing, but I had to do it so many times in high school that I kinda just got used to it.
I consider myself to be a well public speaker. I maintain eye-to-eye contact with people, make sure that I speak clearly and what I'm trying to say can be clearly understood, and make sure my body language is very comfortable and not stiff. The key is to not overthink or overanalyze too much and let things just flow naturally, IMO.
