He might just be sampling her. Hundreds of rappers have sampled Adele, especially Hometown Glory.

Adele pretty much has free reign over her career and has from the start. She is signed to an independent label and even when she signed with Columbia, they already knew they were going to have no control over her, as that was part of the deal.

And it's not so much she's doing a collab with a rapper, it's that it could come off like she'll do one with anybody and it just cheapens her name to lend her voice to anyone's track. Adele is not just another name in the industry.

BUT if the track is good, it won't matter. Adele's voice would be PERFECT for a chorus of an urban/R&B type track. And I doubt Wiz would approach her with something tacky and I doubt she'd feature on something that didn't fit her or her image so I'll wait until we hear it. For all we know it could be amazing.

It's good to know she's not giving up her career yet though.

There are so many better options as far as who Adele chose to collaborate with, but the fact that there may be new Adele music is VERY exciting. Plus, I believe he states that he has done some "songs" with Adele.... PLURAL! Meaning that if they are cleared for the album, there might be multiple Adele songs on there, which means even more Adele music! I kinda hope this is true just so we have new music, but I kinda hope it isn't because she could've picked a way better artist to collaborate with than Wiz Khalifa....
