I think that with this era, the big challenge for some fans and perhaps Gaga herself is letting go of her spot at the top girl in sales.
Look at Bjork if you need reference - she was never a major force commercially, but she just kept doing what she wanted and she's become a legend for her artistry. That's where Gaga could end up, and I'd rather she do that than try to cling to commercial viability sales, never becoming the legend that she has the potential to be.
Gaga does make a good point though. For example, if she released the Bad Romance video today, I don't think it would have received the same amount of praise as it did 4 years ago. People would say it's too weird or how Madonna wore the same exact sun glasses 80 years ago. There comes a point in your career where people just love to hate. Anyhow, Forbes Dreams or IFPiCURE for second single please!
I was on my run when IWTBWY came out, I listened to it and can't believe I've been paying it dust for the last 2 days.
I couldn't help but think that it could be like an uptempo pop/rock song like TEOG was on the album version and what we're hearing is just the acoustic/ballad. I mean, if we had the acoustic TEOG before BTW came out, none of us would've thought that it would be a pop song, no?

Gaga can have sales and artisty at the same time and still to be a legend.IMO Its just that people are kinda over her, they dont see the girl who makes the perfect bops anymore. I hope ARTPOP gains people interest back and doesnt alienate the public even more than BTW

That's definitely a possibility, I just don't think people should lose all hope eve if their worst case scenarios for her sales actually come true.
I really think Gaga and Sia could make magic together! But Gaga don't work with successful people anymore so I can keep dreaming. Besides, a Sia collabo is kinda tacky and predictable now that everyone and their dog are doing it.
