Exactly! This is about the music and the atmosphere. A festival should be an epic experience. Yeah I was a bit tipsy and high at times, but that's a line I refuse to cross and even at that, I don't need those things to enjoy the music they are just an added bonus.

Drinking and weed I completely get. I've been to a few raves and was drunk off my **** but its something I can handle and I know my limit. Also its alcohol not a ****ing illegal concoction of drugs. I'm not really into the whole EDM scene but my friends are and as much as drugs and drinking are tied in with that culture so is the celebration of the music and how it brings the entire crowd together.
Its sad because these things are supposed to be for fun and entertainment but of course people turn it into drugs and now that's all the public is going to associate this scene with.
