Benedict Cumbernatch rumoured to be in new Star Wars

Benedict Cumberbatch is being strongly linked with a role in Star Wars Episode VII.
The Sherlock actor is said to be close to reuniting with his Star Trek Into Darkness director JJ Abrams on the fantasy sequel, which is due to begin shooting early next year in the UK.
According to Film Chronicles, Cumberbatch's involvement in the movie is "the big casting announcement" that Lucasfilm is preparing to announce.
Details of Cumberbatch's supposed role are unclear, however further sites - including Badass Digest - claim that he is being eyed for the role of a new Sith Lord villain.
