what? that seems redundant. the point is to promote the album with anticipated leaks
Even if you got the app in September when it was supposed to be released, it was just a placeholder. You wouldn't have been able to even use the app at all until November.
I just realized that changing her wigs and costumes on stage was her way of showing the vulnerability behind the illusion of "Lady Gaga". Basically what Marina told her to do in the Vmagazine interview.
I'm a bit late replying to this, but I saw this on GGD last night:

Several parts of the ARTPOP era so far have been paralleled with the work that I have been doing in my Drama A Level class recently. Like literally, one thing after another, it's becoming quite scary for me haha.
First of all, there was the Brechtian style of theatre that was used in The Born This Way Ball. For anybody that doesn't know, Brechtian style theatre is when a performance is designed to look exactly like that, a performance. It isn't supposed to look like real life, and the audience are supposed to be constantly aware that what they are watching is pure performance and not real life. Gaga spoke about this briefly in an interview, saying that she deliberately wanted her stage to be dismantled in front of the audience, and she wanted her costume changes to be displayed on stage so that the audience would always know that it was all make-believe. This type of thing originated from Brechtian theatre, alongside other techniques such as the actors waiting on stage for their next scene, the director also sitting on stage in silence, and costumes being changed while the performer is on stage. This was continued tonight at the iTunes Festival.
That is so cool to me! Gaga is clearly doing her research/learning from Marina
I'm pretty sure J&D and Sex Dreams will be singles at one point. Aura too, if that's the supposed Telephone sequel song.
I'm rooting for Swine and MANiCURE to be singles, but I'm not sure if that'll happen.
Can I ask y'all why do you all like Swine? I think it's just meh. And that it should NOT be a single at a point in the future.
I don't think I care if it's a single or not. It still slays me. The one word chorus and the way she wails it, and the melody makes it for me. Also it's really grimey and hard. I really love EDM so that might have to do with it too, that breakdown is far from the generic breakdowns we're used to. The lyrics aren't genius but they're not terrible. Just a bit weird.
