What drove me away from Express was how they plastered their huge, hideous logo on a lot of their clothes. I'm not sure if it's still like that though.

I live in a city dominated by ratchets and wannabe-ratchets. In the past few years, everyone and their ghetto mommas have been wearing his polos. I feel as though the ubiquity of the brand has driven the value of the brand down. Although I used to LOVE Ralph Lauren polos, now I'm not too phased by them because literally everyone has one now and they've become basic. The fact that you can get them at places at Marshall's and TJ Maxx has been a major cause of this.

And that brings me to Lacoste. Although Lacoste isn't as well known within the younger generation, it is still a high-end polo brand that has not been overworn by our generation. And this is primarily because you have to buy them at places like Macy's and Nordstrom, where they never fall below like $50.

I think I want to switch.
