Does success=acclaim?
Simple question. Does selling 7.2M for example in single sales automatically means a song is good?

does it mean acclaim? yes. acclaimed by the GP.
does it make it a good song? no. that's entirely up to the listener and can't be proven wrong or right.

No.
There have been many successful songs that have been panned by the GP & the Industry.
