You all complain about her antics as they were happening as her trying too hard to overshadow people and put all emphasis on image rather than talent. This era shes pulling back the theatrics just enough so that shes not the same spectacle she was 3 years ago. Its not a matter of lost creativity, its just redirected.

No. The thing is she has done so many iconic performances that they are hard to top.

For example, if Rihanna does a performance like Applause at the VMA's everyone would be like "wow, she stepped up her game, that was amazing" but since it's Gaga it's only ok.
